What's Included

We operate all audaxes as shoestring+ events as we do not have access to a community hall/space.

We always provide refreshments (hot and cold) and light snacks at the start and end of each Trooper Series event. Those who have attended one of our events before will know there's usually a surprise at the end!

Details

Leaving Tadpole Garden Village to the north making use of mostly B roads and minor lanes through Aston Keynes and Cirencester towards Bagendon. There's a steep descent down to the crossing of the A435 before ascending to arrive at Fire & Flow. They have a great vegetarian menu and serve excellent coffee so definitely worth stopping. As such they can be busy but they are usually fairly efficient. You retrace yourself back down the hill and up the other side traversing some of the area's lesser used lanes to Driffield and on through Cricklade to arrive back at Tadpole Garden Village.

Controls

  • 11.1 km - Info at Ashton Keynes

  • 27 km - Coffee stop at Fire & Flow, Bagendon

  • 39.3 km - Info at Driffield

Trooper Series

TGV Audax Trooper Series rides (scheduled between April and July 2026) are a great way to experience Audax events. The series is designed to be progressionary with enough time to prepare you and your bicycle for the next increment in distance.

As an added incentive, riders who complete all four rides (500 km) in the series will receive a complimentary patch.
