Building upon the first ride of the Trooper Series, this extends the reach further into the beautiful Cotswolds AONB.
Nothing too difficult, starting in Tadpole Garden Village, 3 info controls and 1 coffee stop!
The Audax distance award is 100K.
We operate all audaxes as shoestring+ events as we do not have access to a community hall/space.
We always provide refreshments (hot and cold) and light snacks at the start and end of each Trooper Series event. Those who have attended one of our events before will know there's usually a surprise at the end!
Head out west from Tadpole Garden Village taking the quiet lanes of Wiltshire through to the historic town of Malmesbury, past the Abbey ruins towards the first Info control at the Flying Monk Café & Taproom. Hullavington. If you are on a leisurely pace and want to stop, we recommend their excellent barista made coffee (cakes or even breakfasts also available).
Onwards to an info control on the outskirts of Tetbury, an ancient Anglo-Saxon town built as a hill fort before making your way upwards to the full control at the Fire & Flow Coffee roastery. From this point on the elevation trends downwards with one more info control at Coln St Aldwyns before returning to Tadpole Garden Village.

The main TGV Audax Trooper Series rides (scheduled between April and July 2027) are a great way to experience Audax events. The series is designed to be progressionary with enough time to prepare you and your bicycle for the next increment in distance.
As an added incentive, riders who complete all four rides (500 km) in the series will receive a complimentary patch.
